Privacy
Last updated: 21 October 2026
Website (dostarabi.com)
The site has two visit measurement tools: Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. Both load only with your consent. On your first visit a consent banner appears; if you choose “Accept” these two tools load, if you choose “Decline” neither loads. Your choice is stored in your browser and the banner does not ask again. The data these tools collect is subject to the Google and Microsoft privacy statements.
The site has no accounts, sign-in, forms or comments. It consists of static files hosted on GitHub Pages; server logs are kept by GitHub under the GitHub privacy statement.
Measurement preference
Android app (Dost Arabi)
The app shows the pages of dostarabi.com. No measurement tool loads inside the app and no consent banner is shown. The app collects no personal data and shares nothing with anyone.
What is kept on your device
The following stay only in your browser’s local storage (localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB) and are never sent to any server; clearing your browser data removes them:
- Preferences: language, theme, text size, Silent Mode, your measurement consent choice.
- Reading position: the last section you opened in the Futuhat, the Fusus and the Mishkat, and which sections you have opened on this device (for the arc on the book circles in the reading layer; no percentage, streak or score is kept); what you added to My Concept Notebook; hints already seen.
- Notes and attachments of the editing mode (@revise).
- A session flag showing the site was opened inside the app (
dost-uygulama).
Offline reading
From the “Offline reading” line in the menu you can, if you wish, download the site’s files into your browser’s cache. This happens only when you ask for it; “Remove” on the same line deletes them.
